When working on online marketing and various other tasks, you will often need to sign up for services, or enter your information into lead capture forms to get access to special content such as videos or PDF files.

What often happens is that your email address is added to mailing lists and you’re getting a lot of consistent email you are not interested in.

The best way to handle this is to establish a second gmail account, one that you will not use for regular communication or work, and use that address for registrations, sign ups and other information you may not want to be bothered filtering through.

If you've already established a lot of registrations and have existing emails that need to be managed, you may want to set up filters with Gmail or create/use disposable Gmail addresses in combination with filters.
